Schuss Lodge Falls Creek
Schuss Lodge Falls Creek is situated at the top of the village on
Parallel Street. It is the largest of our lodges with 57 beds, mostly in
2 bed, 3 bed and 4 bed rooms. To cater for larger families we also have one 6
bed room. The lodge features a
fantastic kitchen.
There is a large lounge
with a cosy fireplace
nook. There is also a TV lounge,
games room and a
sauna. The
ability to ski in and out, given reasonable snow, makes for easy access
to lifts and lunch back at the lodge is a viable, cost saving
alternative. The very extensive network of
cross-country
trails start right at the front door.
Snow making is extensive on beginner and intermediate slopes and now covers 100 hectares. For those seeking an extra challenge a helicopter shuttle service operates to Mount Hotham. The slopes of Mount McKay are also available for advanced skiers.
