Alpine Resort Attractions
Being located right in the Mount Buller Village, Schuss Lodge Mount Buller provides year round access to this premier alpine resort. For snow sports, Mount Buller boasts challenging runs for all standards up to extreme with a system of 25 lifts almost entirely comprising chairs. For 2008 the big news is the Abom chair has been replaced with a high speed 6-seater detachable to get even more people up the mountain quicker.
As Mount Buller is Australia's largest alpine village, this resort is abuzz with activity during winter with the supermarket, boutiques and a range of restaurants suiting most tastes and purses. Of course prices are somewhat higher than in the cities. Our Lodge Manager will generally be able to advise you of the year's best buys on the basis of reputation and the experiences of previous visitors.
Mount Buller has a wide range of summer activities including mountain bike riding, bush walking, tennis, trout fishing and horse riding. We open the Lodge outside the winter season for group bookings of modest numbers.
