About Schuss Ski Club
Schuss Ski Club
was conceived in the mid 1960s and formally established in 1969. It is a sporting club that aims to encourage and promote participation in
snow sports and other alpine sporting activities by providing low cost accommodation
and other facilities. To this end Schuss owns and operates 3 lodges in the alpine villages of 3 of
Australia's premier Alpine resorts - Mount Buller, Falls Creek and
Thredbo.
Although originally South Australian based, the Club has Members
in every state and territory of Australia as well as several overseas. Our family-friendly lodges provide
comfortable, lodge style, self-catering accommodation at very
competitive prices. Our bedrooms all have en-suites and our general
facilities are of a very high standard for the price and style of
accommodation.
Our
Lodges are open, not only each winter snow season, but also during the peak summer holiday period.
Further, we will generally open at other times on request for reasonable sized groups. The public is most welcome to stay
as Guests with Schuss and winter
bookings open on 1 March each year. We invite you to stay with Schuss
Ski Club - a friendly, economic way to have a holiday in the mountains.
Although Schuss Ski Club's lodges offer a consistently high standard of accommodation they are all slightly different. To learn more about the individual lodges, their cost or to make a booking enquiry, please click on the lodge of your choice - Mount Buller, Falls Creek or Thredbo - on the menu above.
